The seven interesting things about myself.



1. I have the two most precious gifts that God could ever have given me, Lillian and Abby.



2. I do have a wonderful husband that helps with house duties and takes care of the kids since I do work outside of the home. He fusses about my spending habits very often but I don't know what I would do without him!!



3. I love my family!! Being the youngest has its advantages!!


4. I can wash laundry all day long but I hate to put it up.



5. I love to take long, long naps but that rarely happens anymore.



6. I only have four more months of work and then off for two months!!! Can't wait to spend the summer with my girls!!!



7. Need to lose weight but cannot make myself start counting points again! Let's face it.....I love to eat!!

Flower Girl Dresses!!

I am so glad that I finally found the matching dresses for Lillian and Abby. Lane gave me the approval for the dresses. I looked for hours after hours looking for something that was ivory and in my price range. I feel like I got a good deal on these dresses. Also, they will wear them for Easter. I can't wait to see Lillian walking down the aisle throwing her rose petals and to see Abby being pulled in a wagon.

I am so glad that it is Friday. My kids at work have really wore me out today. I am ready for the weekend! Hope everyone has a great one!!

Going to the Chapel and We're Gonna Get Married!!

Last night my niece Lane got a diamond! We are so excited for her and Brady!! We know that he is a very good catch!! The wedding is expected to happen on April 30th unless they change the date. Lane had Lillian announce that she got a ring. It is so pretty!! We knew that this was going to happen we just didn't know when it would be. Lillian and Abby will be the flower girls. Lillian has already been practicing dropping the petals. Abby will be pulled in a wagon since she may not be walking by then. I must begin looking for dresses!! We wish Lane and Brady the best!!!

Well, now that we have been in for a while I am ready for Springtime!!!!!

National Champions!!!!!!!!

Wow, what a game!! We traveled up the road to my sister's house to watch the game. We had other invites but we thought that we might stay close to home because of the weather. All in all it was a wonderful night!!! National Champions, snow, and no school today.........nobody could ask for a better combination!!!

Ready for the Tide to Roll!!!

I needed to make Lillian a bigger Alabama hairbow to go with her cheerleader outfit. I made it about 30 minutes before we left. What do you think???? I think I did pretty good for a double bow. Amber, thanks for showing me how to do it without having to show the ends of the ribbon. That makes it a lot easier to do!

Snow days!

Since I am out for our snow days, I am trying to get my house clean so that I don't have to do it on my normal day which is Saturday. When you work that seems to be the only time that you can actually get housework done. I would love to do nothing on Saturday but relax!! But in the meantime Lillian and Abby seem to be having some fun of their own. Lillian loves pushing Abby in her walker and she also loves to get in it herself. I wished that I would have gotten a picture of Lillian sitting in it. She looked so funny sitting in it. Abby seems to enjoy the ride. Abby is growing everyday. She rolls all over the floor and is now putting her knees up under her belly. It won't be long until she will be crawling. She also shakes her head "no" now especially at Lillian. She is learning quick of how to deal with her big sister. Too funny!!

Gum in the Hair!!!!!!

I knew it would happen sooner or later......Lillian had gum in her hair!!! She loves to take her gum out of her mouth and play with it which she gets in trouble for doing. I was sick when she told me that her gum was stuck in her hair! The first thought that came to my head is that I would have to cut it out and it was at the top of her head. Then I called momma and asked her what to do. She gave me a few ideas but told me to get on the Internet and look for ways to get it out. I tried mousse first and it let some of the hair come loose. Then I got baby oil and soaked her head in it and it came out. Thank goodness!!! Sorry about not having any pics but I was a little distraught and the camera was the last thing on my mind. What a way to end your first day back at work!! Hope everyone has a great week!!

Happy Birthday Chris!

Today was Chris's 39th birthday! Only one more year until the big 4-0!! He is getting old! Lillian wanted to know if Daddy was going to have a party and could she go to it. We went to Longhorn to eat with Chan and Marla and then went to do some shopping.

Just got up!!

Rough day!!!

Lillian was so excited about going to eat for Daddy's birthday. She was even more excited that she got to sit in the third row seating in Chan's vehicle. She was a very big girl sitting in the dark in the back by herself.
Abby didn't know what to think because I am never sitting beside her in the vehicle. She is all covered up for the very cold weather.

By the end of the shopping trip, Chris started getting sick again. He was sick on New Year's Eve with 102.8 temp and then didn't run anymore for two days and now it is back. What a pretty bad way to end your birthday night!!!! Maybe he will feel better tomorrow!! Hope everyone is having a great start in 2010!!!
