Fun Around the House

Well, we have been enjoying our time off from work and are trying to do some things around the house also. But for the most part we just play with our girls. They sure won't be little for long.

Lillian posing for the camera!
Abby's hair is starting to be frizzy.
Daddy is playing salon with Lillian.
Now Lillian is cutting Daddy's hair.
It won't be long until Abby will be crawling. She has been able to turn over on her tummy since she was two months old but has just now learned how to turn back over on her back from her tummy. She pushes her booty up in the air and tries to jump forward to get to something. She also rolls around the room so now we are having to preach to Lillian about leaving any toys out that Abby might be able to put in her mouth and swallow. Lillian is already being a little protective sister. She tells her, "No Abby, you can't put that in your mouth!"
Bath time!!
Abby is just about to outgrow her bathtub. It is so much easier giving her a bath in the kitchen sink because of the sprayer. Abby loves that sprayer! She just laughs when I spray her with it. She is starting to be able to sit on her own so we will move her to the mud sink and put her in a deep dish pan just like we did with Lillian. Hope everyone is having a good week!!

Christmas Day

On Christmas Day night we headed to Mimi's house for a delicious meal and some more presents. Lillian is really getting into tearing the paper off and is pretty quick with it too. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Ready to open gifts!
Abby chillin with Mimi.
I only have one more week off until it is time to go back to work. I hope to get things cleaned out and try to organize things much better. Wish me luck!!!

Christmas Morning

Lillian and Abby must have been some really good girls this year because Santa was very good to them. Lillian's eyes lit up when she saw her kitchen. Of course Abby didn't have a clue what was going on.

Lillian loves her kitchen!!
Chris and I had said that this Christmas was for the girls and that we wouldn't get each other anything. Well, Mommy must have been really good this year because Daddy got her a 50 minute massage! What a big surprise!!!! I cannot wait to go!!!
We had to keep in mind when looking for presents that Lillian's play set was part of her birthday and Christmas this year. Next year should be interesting since Abby should be walking!!
Play food will now consume our floor!
I hope that everyone had a great Christmas morning! More later from Chris's side of family.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve night we headed to my parents' house for a great meal and plenty of presents. Poor Lillian she thought that it was still her birthday and that all of the gifts were her presents. It's tough having a birthday so close to Christmas.

All smiles!
This is what Abby did most of the night. She was running a low grade temp. and didn't feel good. We think that she is trying to cut some teeth.
Lane, Laura Leigh, and Anna going for the sweets!
Abby did wake up for some action after opening presents.
Lane and her boyfriend Brady got Lillian a beauty shop chair. Now she can be just like Lane and cut and style hair.

Lillian got boots, play dishes, and lots of clothes. Abby got plenty of clothes. Christmas morning pics coming soon.

Family Birthday Party!

On Tuesday, December 22nd, we had the family over for Lillian's birthday. She was showered again with tons of gifts. Here are a few pics from that night.

Birthday Girl!
Abby is chillin at the party!
Lillian got so much stuff that we don't know where we are going to put it all. She got a dress-up trunk and here she is trying some of the clothes on.

Chan and Marla also brought the kids Christmas to them that night and Chan is helping Lillian check out her gift. Abby was asleep during this time but Lillian opened her gift for her and it was some little drums that light up and plays music.
I cannot believe that three years have really gone by so fast. I think she really enjoyed her birthday and I pray that she has many more to enjoy. On Wednesday the 23rd was actually her birthday and we met up with some of Lillian's besties to eat and play. She must have played really hard because she took a 3 hour nap. More with Christmas later.

Slacking But Still Blogging!

I knew that it would be hard for me to do the December daily but I gave it a shot. I don't know where my time goes but we have really been busy for the month of December. Oh, well.......so here is what we have been doing lately. We had a party at the Collins's house and this year's theme was Rudolph. Lillian had a ball! Here are a few pics from that night.

Jon did really well reading the story of Rudolph.

Even though our team didn't win, Eddy looks so funny wearing the balloon looking antlers!
The rest of the week's time was spent on preparing for Lillian's third birthday party. More pics to come.

December Daily 7th-12th

I am not doing so hot at posting the December daily each day but I do get a picture for each day. The weekends seem to be the only time that I can actually get around to these so please be patient with me and I will give you a daily rundown of our recent week.

December 7th

We got so tickled at Lillian and Abby that night. Lillian was playing doctor and Abby was being a very good patient. Abby would just look at her and I know she was probably thinking what is she doing to me. I know that they will have lots of fun in the future playing together.
December 8th

Abby loves to eat!! She has so far liked pears, peaches, bananas, green beans, and sweet potatoes. I really don't think when it comes time to break her from the bottle that it will be hard. She just watches us eat and drink and probably wishes that she could have some.

Green Bean Face!!
December 9th

Lillian loves to put on dress-up clothes and really goes a little overboard with dressing. Check out the shoes along with the shaw.
December 10th

Our ladies night out was at Leanne Helum's house where we brought an ornament to play Dirty Christmas. We had a lot of great food and lots of fun!

Bath time! I love the smell of clean babies!! When Lillian was little we took a picture of her with this towel and I thought that we would get Abby's with it too.
The fun will continue with a party after church tomorrow night at Jon and Kenneith Collins's house. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!
