Abby's Finialization!!!!!

Wow, our lives have changed quickly over a span of three years. One being of when we adopted Lillian and the second being Abby's adoption. On Wednesday, November 18th, Abby legally became ours forever!! We were so excited for this day to come. We remember so well of when the judge told us that he was signing the court documents for Lillian to be legally ours and couldn't wait to hear those words again for Abby. I really can't put into words of how it felt when the judge said, "Congratulations." To try and put it into words would be comparing those words to actually giving birth to her. The process was the same as with Lillian's adoption. We met my Aunt Kay at the courthouse and then waited for our lawyer to contact us through a conference call. We then waited for the judge on the conference call and then we conducted the hearing. It only lasted for about 15 minutes but it sure did seem like an eternity.

That night after church we had family and friends over for cake and ice cream to celebrate. Lillian couldn't wait to celebrate. She was so excited that her friends were coming to the house.

Loads of Fun

This past week has been a busy week for us. We went to Anna's ballgame on Tuesday which was Abby's first basketball game and I forgot my camera. I did get a picture on my cell phone but I don't know how to send it to my computer. Oh, well.....Wednesday was Veteran's Day so Chris and I were both off and got to spend time with our two girls. So here is what we did on that day.....nothing but relaxed all day long!
On Thursday we made it back for another basketball game and this time I did have my camera.

Both of them love one another so much! The other night Lillian had Abby laughing so hard that it was so funny. Both of them are growing so fast and learning so much that it makes me realize that they won't be little for long. Enjoy your little ones as much as you can because life is way too short! Halloween and Fall Festival Fun

It's been a while and I have lots of pictures to share! First, Lillian and Abby went trick-a-treating as Alabama cheerleaders. They looked so cute in their outfits. We were so looking forward to the party but it had to be cancelled due to weather. So we headed out to a few houses to get some candy. Abby didn't start off the trip very well but by the end she was content. Lillian, of course, did fine. She kept wanting to know where are we going next after we would get back in the car. She had so much fun saying "Trick-a-Trick! Roll Tide!!" We ended our night at Chan and Marla's house for some much needed good food. I was so glad that the clocks rolled back an hour because we were out so late.

Clements was having a Fall Festival this past Saturday and I had to work so I decided to take Lillian for some fun. She had such a blast. It turned out to be a beautiful day! Here are a few pics to show the fun.
