Field Day and Alabama Adventure

This was our first field day at Blue Springs Elementary!! It was so fun for the kids!!! Hope to be able to bring Lillian next year. We had tons on inflatables and food!! Thanks to our awesome P.E. coaches for organizing it!!

Here is a mega slide that a coworker and I raced down the slide to see who could get to the bottom first. It was fun! I had one of my kids to take a picture of me coming down it but all they got was my big behind and I figured no one would want to see that picture!!

Being drenched with a fire truck hose ranked #1 on my kids list from field day!! They loved it!!
Since our kids are sort of graduating elementary school, we decided to try and go to Alabama Adventure as one of our field trips. It was awesome!! That is definitely going to become a 5th grade field trip from now on!!

I got to ride all of the coasters that they had and each time I got ready to load the coaster my heart would be beating so hard. I was hoarse by the time we left from screaming. My class said that the trip was a great way to end the school year. Can't wait for next year!!

Mother's Day 2011

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. My girls had cards for me along with a gift certificate for me to go shopping for myself for once. I am usually shopping for the girls that I rarely ever shop for myself anymore so that was going to be a treat.

That night we headed to Jones Road for church and then to my sister Tammy's house. We had a delicious meal of course. This horse in the picture is a big hit for my girls. They love to ride it. Abby kept wanting to go round and around on it.

I thought this was a sweet picture of the girls with Chris. They were trying to get the cows to come closer to the fence. Some of the cows came a little closer but not up to the fence.

On April 30th, I got to help with Marla's niece's wedding. It was a very eloquent outside wedding.

Abby's First Dog Ears!!

I was finally able to put Abby's hair up in dog ears. It may not be pretty but at least I know that her hair is long enough for that now.
She was very proud of them. She is so tender headed that I may not be able to put her hair up very much.

When Will used to play baseball for A.B.S. we would take Lillian all the time to ballgames. Now we are getting to take Abby to watch Anna play softball for A.B.S. Abby seemed to really enjoy it especially eating the candy!!

Easter Egg Hunt and Easter 2011

We hosted our 3rd annual Easter egg hunt this year. A big thanks goes out to Donnie and Leanne for all the help!! It seemed like the kids enjoyed it. Can't wait for next year's egg hunt!! This post is long so bear with me.

The girls went to Aunt Rob's to color eggs and then to have a contest of the best colored egg. They loved it! I had to make sure that they wore clothes that I didn't care for egg coloring getting on it. My two can really make a mess!
Then the next morning the Easter Bunny came and brought all sorts of goodies!!

Chris was trying to get something out of his hand and he was using Guinn's magnifying glasses. He wanted to know did he look intelligent with them on. I told him that they made him look old. Needless to say he didn't like that answer!!
