Happy 3rd Birthday Princess Lillian!!!
Friday night we celebrated Lillian's 3rd birthday with a princess party at Laney's Salon. I would like to thank my two nieces Lane and Laura Leigh along with Allison and Paige for a wonderful night of salon style! I believe that the girls all had fun. Lillian kept on thanking me for her princess party. She said it was so much fun. Here are some pictures of our beautiful princesses!
Slacking But Still Blogging!
I knew that it would be hard for me to do the December daily but I gave it a shot. I don't know where my time goes but we have really been busy for the month of December. Oh, well.......so here is what we have been doing lately. We had a party at the Collins's house and this year's theme was Rudolph. Lillian had a ball! Here are a few pics from that night.
Jon did really well reading the story of Rudolph.

December Daily 7th-12th
I am not doing so hot at posting the December daily each day but I do get a picture for each day. The weekends seem to be the only time that I can actually get around to these so please be patient with me and I will give you a daily rundown of our recent week.
December 7th
We got so tickled at Lillian and Abby that night. Lillian was playing doctor and Abby was being a very good patient. Abby would just look at her and I know she was probably thinking what is she doing to me. I know that they will have lots of fun in the future playing together.
Abby loves to eat!! She has so far liked pears, peaches, bananas, green beans, and sweet potatoes. I really don't think when it comes time to break her from the bottle that it will be hard. She just watches us eat and drink and probably wishes that she could have some.
Green Bean Face!!
December 9thLillian loves to put on dress-up clothes and really goes a little overboard with dressing. Check out the shoes along with the shaw.
December 10th
Our ladies night out was at Leanne Helum's house where we brought an ornament to play Dirty Christmas. We had a lot of great food and lots of fun!

Princess Abby
Bath time! I love the smell of clean babies!! When Lillian was little we took a picture of her with this towel and I thought that we would get Abby's with it too.
The fun will continue with a party after church tomorrow night at Jon and Kenneith Collins's house. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!

December Daily Project
I, too, am doing the December daily project and I am already behind but I hope to be caught up after this post.
December 1st
Lillian is starting to love looking at catalogs while she is on the potty doing the big job. I caught her doing this and I thought this was too funny. She is just like a little adult!
December 2nd
Both of my girls love to be without any clothes! Even though Lillian wasn't standing up straight Abby is almost as tall as she is and will probably catch up with Lillian pretty soon.
December 3rd
We all enjoyed the Christmas parade! My family goes and eat after the parade every year and this year was no different. We finished the night at Cracker Barrel.

Lillian is a large Barney fan and so what could be any better on a Friday night than watching Barney. We watch it so much that Chris and I get up singing some of the Barney songs.
We woke up to a beautiful scene of snow! Lillian was so excited about going and playing in it. Lillian and Daddy tried to build a snowman but the snow wouldn't stay together. Hopefully, we will get an even bigger snow later on this year to build a really big snowman!
For the ballgame we headed to Chan and Marla's for some good chili and a great ballgame. Roll Tide Roll!!! Marla is an Auburn fan and Chan is an Alabama fan and she has a display of Alabama/Auburn things and Lillian loves to play in it. How about what she has on.........Alabama cheerleading outfit and an Auburn hat and purse.
After the ballgame we tried to get some Christmas card pictures since Marla has some pretty decorations. Well, I hope that I can use some of the pictures because it is a pain trying to get two kids to look at the camera at the same time.

Lots of Catching Up!
Lots of things have been going on in our lives. With so much going on and getting in late, I was just so tired that all I wanted to do when I got home was to go to bed. Sorry for the lengthy post but here is what we have been doing lately. Tuesday before Thanksgiving the 5th grade went on a field trip to Nashville to an imax 3-D movie "A Christmas Carol" and to the ice exhibit "A Charlie Brown Christmas." I loved it! It was so cold at the ice exhibit. The lady said that they had to keep it a 9 degrees. It was so pretty and the kids of course loved the slides. Here are a few pics of the exhibit.

Fun, fun, fun!!

Thursday night we ate a very good meal at my dad and mom's house. I think everyone stuffed themselves so much that we were all ready to bed down. Aunt Mia is holding up her hound's tooth for Abby's background.
Future Trojan cheerleader!
Friday after the Alabama/Auburn ballgame we headed for Mimi's house for supper. It was so delicious! Lillian had tons of fun with Tyler, Jonathan, and Emily. As you can see from the picture, Abby was all tuckered out.

This past Monday I had a diapers and wipes baby shower from work. Everyone was so good to us and I want them to know that I really appreciate it very much. Chris brought Lillian and Abby to school for the shower. Lillian loved the party.
Abby and my assistant principal, Lori
All smiles in front of the gift table!
On Tuesday Abby went for her 4 month check-up and again we got a clean bill of health. I am so thankful that she hasn't been sick especially since Lillian stays in her face all the time. She weighed 15 pounds and 1/2 oz. She was 25 and 3/4 inches long. She will be catching up with Lillian pretty soon at this rate. Again Abby had to get shots and that didn't go very well. She frowned up whenever the nurse came back in to give her the shots and it took me a good 15 minutes to get her to calm down. She has been on fruit for a while and tonight was the first night that we gave her green beans. She loved them! No weird face or anything.....can you believe that! I think that she is going to be my good eater. I couldn't refuse to take her picture before she got her shots.
Last night we went to the Christmas parade. We were able to sit in the vehicle with the window just cracked enough to hear the bands. Lillian was really excited about seeing the bands, cheerleaders, and floats. I can tell that this Christmas will be really fun for Lillian. I tried to get Lillian's and Abby's picture before the parade started but I never could get Abby and Lillian to look at the camera at the same time. So here is what I got.
I just had to put this picture in because of Lillian's expression. She stopped smiling just as I snapped the picture. Too funny!
