First Real Bath with Big Sister!!

Well, we finally gave Abby her first real bath with Lillian Wednesday night before church. Lillian was so excited that she was going to get to hold Abby in the water. Ummm......not a good idea! She couldn't hold her up well enough for me to bathe her so I had to give her a bath myself outside of the bathtub. But Lillian was so proud of herself for helping give Abby a bath. Check out the differences in the tans. Poor Abby.... she might have a hard time getting a tan like her mommy but unlike her sister!
Today we went to Anna's volleyball game at A.B.S. Lillian knows so much about sports it is so funny. Of course she knows the cheer bump, set, spike for volleyball and goes around saying that for Anna. It was so hot in the gym because they do not have air conditioner. I hope that they have one in the new gym on the new campus. Anyway, Anna won both games.

Lillian, Abby, and Laura Leigh are posing for the picture! Abby is really not posing because she sleeps all the time!! I am not complaining though!!!
Anna waiting on a ball to come back over the net. I wish that I could be that skinny again!!
Anna is sporting her brother's number from school which is #5.
We have Abby's baby bed here but it is not put up. The rest of the furniture will be here in 3 to 4 weeks. Hopefully, the bed will be up this weekend and I will post pics of it. I am also in the process of changing Lillian's room over to Ladybugs and I will post pics of her room later. Hope everyone had a great day!!

Abby is one month old!!!

Can you believe that one month has already past that we have had Abby??? She is growing so fast!! She eats all the time and she still sleeps a lot. We are still trying to adjust to having two children but it seems to be getting a little easier and easier with each passing day. Abby has starting smiling a lot and even trying to talk some or you know make noises. It is great having two girls and we thank God everyday for them because they have changed our lives forever.

Happy Birthday Paw Paw!

Last weekend we celebrated my dad's birthday at my sister Robin's house. We had breakfast food that was out of this world! Thanks to Mr. Chef which is Mark who cooked all the food! He did an excellent job. Can you believe that my dad is 73 years old??? He is such a great dad and grandfather! I hope that he will live to see many more birthdays! Love you daddy!!!

Lillian is reading Paw Paw's card for him.
Lillian loves being outside with everybody. She thinks that she is big enough to volley the ball too.

Catch up time!

Sorry that it has been a while! We have been a little busy as you may know! Well, we eventually got to come home last week and we were so glad to see our driveway. We have had lots of visitors to come by with gifts for Abby and for Lillian. I would like to thank everyone for the gifts and the prayers on our behalf. We are so blessed with a great family and great friends! Now for some pictures..... on the last night of our stay we went to eat at a Triple J's steakhouse that was soooo good! This was the first time that the two sisters rode together. So here is Lillian smiling but I forgot to push down the canopy to be able to see Abby.
We got in about 1:00 a.m. on Friday morning. I just happened to be going through the mail and found Katie Lee's invitation to her birthday party that was on Saturday. Lillian sure didn't want to miss out since she didn't get to go to Anna Beth's. So I took her to the party and then I went to work in my room at school to be able to get it ready for the sub on Saturday.

Katie Lee is getting ready to blow out her candles. The cake was gorgeous and very delicious! Happy Birthday Katie Lee!!

The gang is ready to sing and eat!
Lillian loves to climb!!
Lillian and Allie loving the swings!
This past Sunday was our first service that we all got to go to church together. Mark was nice enough to come and take our picture since we did this with Lillian too.
Abby would not open her eyes for the camera.
She loves to be naked!
Thursday night Laura Leigh had a Mary Kay party at Lane's shop. Of course Lillian had to go since it was dealing with makeup.
Check out Lillian putting on her makeup!
She really was loving it!!
Last night we had a little bit of a scare with Lillian. I was wondering how long it would take her to stick something up her nose. Well, it happened last night while she was in the bathtub. She hollers and tells me that she has stuck her ponytail holder up her nose and can't get it out. You know the little ouchless rubber band ones.........a black one at that. I quickly got her out and found a flashlight and I could see it at the very back of her nose. I tried tweezers and Lillian wouldn't sit still enough. Just so happened that Brian and Dawn Barlow called us to see how we were doing and they told us to make her stand up and blow her nose as hard as she could. We tried and tried that and finally it came out!! I would have taken a picture but she was naked and the ponytail holder was very gross. Lillian has promised that she wouldn't do that again. We'll see how that goes. We will be celebrating my dad's birthday tonight at my sister Robin's house.

Making Memories

On Friday we had some visitors to come by the condo. Dana, Huntley, and Linda came by since they were in Panama City on vacation. It was good to see some familiar faces and we are glad that they came by to see Abby. Here is Huntley holding Abby.
Chan and Marla were coming down with Lillian that night so we needed to do something to pass the time so we tried to keep Abby up so that she could see her sister when she got there which was around 1:00 a.m. We didn't get settled down for bed until 3:00 a.m. and Lillian was back up at 6:00 a.m. No sleep for the weary!
Look at those long, skinny legs!
On Sunday after church we decided to head for the beach. Lillian couldn't wait! So here she is waiting to get her bathing suit on.
We quickly made a stop to get a tent to protect little miss Abby from the sun and wind. She just snoozed away to the sound of the waves.
Lillian is sitting in the middle of the sandcastle that Chan built for her.

Jumping the waves with Daddy!
Time for sweet dreams!
Chan and Marla left out Monday afternoon leaving the four of us behind. We still sit here today! Montgomery was missing some hospital records so they should be there by 10:00 a.m. tomorrow. Hope to get word after that to come home! I think that I have forgotten what my house really looks like on the inside! Please pray for us to come home!!!!
